WIAW # 25

I am still trying not to be tempted to wear my lovely clothes i got at the weekend and so far so good! The week so far is going really well and i have clocked in some running and swimming.

So it is that time of the week again WIAW thanks to Peas and Crayons and here are last Wednesday eats.
Peas and Crayons

I have tried some different breakfasts and my fav was avocado and banana smoothie.  I am not going to lie I was worried about this one but loved it.

½ avocado
1 Banana
Milk of your choice
Blitz together and enjoy.  I did!!

Mid-morning snacks

Still the same as last week but have been really enjoying Clipper organic green tea and lemon.  It is really lemony. 


I have been rocking the salads and enjoying tuna salad.


I am trying all different yogurts at the moment and really enjoyed the activa ones but they are not fat free.


Was a tasty Prawn and Brown Rice Sir fry. 

120g brown rice
12 king Prawns (more if you fancy it)
½ Onion
Red pepper
Handful of frozen garden peas
Soya sauce or something similar

Cook the brown rice until cooked through and drain.  Heat oil in a wok and add the chopped up onion, pepper and mushrooms.  Once cooked through add the chilli and garlic and cook for a minute.  Add the peas and allow to cook through for about 2 minutes.  Then add the prawns and cook through.  Once the Prawns are just cooked at the rice, soya sauce and cook until all are warmed through.  I actually ran out of soya sauce and it was alright without it. 

One thing i really miss eating is biscuits so  i bought some Gluten free wafer bars and they are really good but not as lovely as curly whirly's!!

So last night was my weigh in and i gained 1.5lb.  i was gutted especially after last weeks great loss.  Not sure where it has come from but back to drawing basics and getting it off.

How do deal with gains and any top tips would be really welcome -thank you.

  2. I can't drink green tea because it always makes me nauseous. Finally, I learned about green tea powder and I can drink it in smoothies! It looks like you had a yummy day. :)
