Well last
week I was ill with a cold and flu and felt terrible all week. I was at college on Saturday and now getting
back into the swing of things. Sunday
was more sofa hunting.
I am so
pleased to be feeling better and I have even managed two runs in the last two
days.
I did say
that I would keep you up to date with my weight loss journey and pleased to report that I have lost another
1.5lb. I was worried with the medicine
and not exercising for a week but was pleased it was a loss. I read an article on a lady who had taken 4
years to get to her goal weight and how happy she was. It really made me think. I always want things to happen now. I want to be at goal for Christmas and it is unrealistic. It takes what it takes and if it take four
years them fine as long as I get there. What is the rush really. Better it is
slow and steady then a quick fix where you lose fast but gain it back on
quicker and gain even more. Well that is
my thinking and I feel so much more relaxed about it all. So what if life gets in the way as long as
you get back on it and feel good about yourself.
So my aim
this month is to make a couple of new recipes and have found a couple I like
the sounds of. I will share them once I try
them.
Autumn is on
it way here in England and as a result
it has been hot oats with raspberries for breakfast and homemade soups for
lunch.
Dinner’s seem
to have changed to chilli and casserole with my fav being a chicken casserole
cooked in the slow cooker.
It is funny how
as soon as the weather changes the slow cooker and soup pans come out.
I love a good chili on a cold day unfortunately we don't get very many old days here in SWFL.
ReplyDeleteLucky you we get many here in England.
