WIAW#57

Well it is time to be honest and face the fact that I have gained weight and far too much over this last year and it is time to do something about it.

I will post each week on how I get on, the good the bad and the ugly!

I have joined weight watchers as I have done well on it on the past but then gave up when I was 0.5lb away from goal.  Mad  I know but after trying all sorts of diets and plans, I have gone back to what I know works for me.  I tried calorie counting but without going to a meeting it just doesn’t work for me. 

My weigh in day is a Tuesday night and I will share my results to keep me in check and in order!

All food is pointed (although most fruit and veg is free) and I have 26 pro points every day with an extra 49 for when needed. 

I had my first weigh in last night after a week on the plan and have lost 2.5lb which I am happy with.

So what have I been up to this last week?

We have been to a wedding and shopping for a new sofa.

 



 

Now onto WIAW

Porridge is my staple on a morning with various berries.

Lunch was a lovely homemade bean and veg soup although and dinner was sweet red peppers stuffed with feta cheese with lovely veg and potatoes.


Snacks are fruit and a little bit of chocolate on an evening.  I need to take more food pictures and ensure I log everything on my weight watchers app and for here.

My work colleague made an amazing chocolate pie that  looked amazing although I couldn’t eat it.  It was sprinkled with red stars and glitter. Mmmmm
