WIAW # 23

I can't believe another week has gone by already and soon I will be officially counting down to my holiday!

I realised last week that i didn't tell you how i got on at Weight Watchers.  Well I stayed the same but am happy with that as had been on holiday so this week I lost 0.5lb.  To be honest I was a little disappointed but it is a lose and that is what i need to remember.

I am also feeling so much better now than at the weekend.  I am feeling so excited for my first 10k on Sunday.  I have been really training and loving it.  I love swimming and cycling and feel they come more naturally to me and running has always been very hard.  I have found that increasing my miles has made a huge difference to my love of it.

So it is that time of the week for WIAW from Peas and Crayon

Peas and Crayons

Breakfast as ever was oats.  Never gets old!

Once i get to work I love a cup or tea followed about 30mins later with a cup of red bush or red bush vanilla tea.

Love it.

Mid morning snack before lunch time run had recently been the same.  Gluten Free rice cakes with low fat cheese spread and a banana.

Not sure if eating a banana everyday when slimming is good.  Would love to hear what people think.

Lunch time was a tasty egg salad.

The weather is really picking up  here in England and enjoying the warmer weather.

Mid afternoon snack has been a apple and weight watchers yogurt.  i am not a huge fan of the yogurts and they are not filling me much so going to try something different.

Dinner was a Brown rice and chicken stir fry.  I am not a great lover of vegetable stir frys but this was lush.

On and evening we have been enjoying trying some dark chocolate (just two squares a night) and I had that with another cup of red bush tea.  This is nice chocolate but not as nice as what we had at the weekend.  My fav on an evening.

So what do you think of banana's when you are slimming?  I just love them!

  5. I don't see any issues with enjoying a banana... it's natural, a whole food & healthy. As they say, everything in moderation. ;)
Love the mug & congrats on the weight-loss!! :)
